I am a serial volunteer, adventure-seeker, somewhatrunner, planner, and achiever.  I am an engineer at heart, and I find myself happily in a role as a professional communicator at an international financial communications firm.  I engineer thoughts and ideas into actionable and measurable programs that – I believe – are for the greater good of everyone involved.  I believe in fate, and my dream is to one day close the space between my current position and a position that – for example – builds rain catchers for villages that have no running water.  For now, however, I continue to absorb life’s lessons and learn as much as I can before whatever’s next arrives.

StephanieBrown9 is an alias I created during a post-graduate internship years ago. You can find it (and me) on Linked In and Facebook, although I use them for two very separate and distinct purposes.

I have yet to fully define my blog’s goal, but I am happy you’re considering following me on the journey.   I’m open to thoughts, opinions, objections, and other notes, so please do leave comments as you feel compelled.  As my first blog (established when I was in high school at Lockport Township) was titled: Welcome to my world.
